1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. If you are using our services on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization.

2. Services Overview

DShala provides educational resources and guidance for design entrance exams such as NID-DAT, CEED, UCEED, and NIFT. The services include, but are not limited to:

• Mock tests for exam preparation
• Quiz Zone practice (MCQ, MSQ, and NAT) with performance analysis
• Flashcards and other digital educational content
• Performance insights and feedback
• Account creation for personalized learning
• Access to digital educational content and resources through dshala.com and the Dshala iOS app

Some features require payment. Quiz Zone is sold as an auto-renewing subscription in the iOS app. Mock test bundles may be purchased on dshala.com or in the iOS app. Access for eligible purchases is shared between the website and app where applicable.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of DShala, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You must not impersonate another person or use another user's account without permission.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are deemed to be in violation of these Terms.

4. Use of Services

You agree to use DShala's services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are prohibited from:

• Engaging in any activity that could harm, disrupt, or interfere with the functionality of the website or app.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of our website, app, accounts, or systems.
• Using any content from our services for commercial purposes without explicit permission from Vastubodhi Tech & Content.
• Sharing, reproducing, or distributing any part of our content without proper authorization.

5. Fees and Payments (Website)

This section applies to purchases made on dshala.com. Purchases made in the Dshala iOS app are covered by Section 6.

Some features or services on DShala may require payment. All payments made through the website are subject to our refund policy. Prices and payment terms for specific services will be clearly stated at the point of purchase.

• Payment must be made in accordance with the terms specified at the time of purchase.
• We may change the pricing for our services from time to time, and such changes will be updated on the website.
• Refund requests for website purchases will be handled in accordance with our refund policy.

6. Apple App Store Purchases (iOS App)

This section applies only to purchases made inside the Dshala iOS app. Purchases made on dshala.com are covered by Section 5 and our refund policy.

Quiz Zone subscription

Quiz Zone is an auto-renewing subscription sold in monthly and 6-month plans. There is no free trial. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and are set by Apple for your region.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• If you cancel, access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Mock test bundles (one-time purchases)

Mock test bundles are one-time unlocks, not subscriptions. If you already purchased a bundle on dshala.com, that access carries over to the app and you will not be charged again for the same bundle. Use "Restore Purchases" on the purchase sheet after reinstalling or switching devices.

Refunds and support

Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, not by us. Our website refund policy applies only to purchases made on dshala.com. You may request an App Store refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

We provide support for the app at hello@dshala.com. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

Apple's role

Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you. Your licence to use the app is limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable, and is subject to the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.

Where Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies, it governs your use of the app in addition to this section: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources provided on dshala.com and in the Dshala app are the intellectual property of Vastubodhi Tech & Content or its licensors. This includes but is not limited to:

• Educational content, test materials, graphics, logos, and designs.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any of our content without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date content, DShala makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the content provided.

You use our services at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of our services.

In no event will Vastubodhi Tech & Content or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the website or app.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any of the following reasons:

• Breach of these Terms.
• Engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.
• Non-payment of any fees for paid services.

Upon termination, you will no longer have access to your account, and any data or content associated with your account may be deleted.

10. Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the website, app, or services at any time, without prior notice. This includes changes to pricing, features, or availability of specific content.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of DShala or its services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
