  Your sketch look great, the line quality, 3d view are perfect but you need to pay attention to overall presentation of the answer sheet. the standalone sketch might not be a great idea to solve this kind of questions. you could have added more working views to explain the functioning of your product. for eg: you could have sketch the rotation dial in the action form, like an hand is rotating the dial. it would have added the drama and human touch to your presentation.

  our idea seems unique. and you took inspiration from straw. you have highlighted the materials as well. the feature of pen holder is also unique but may not be intuitive to use. you need improve on your line quality and need to practice drawing straight lines, circles, and shading hatching in uniformed way. you could have improved on presentation.

  Presentation wise your sheet look fine. but we feel you need to work on overall presentation. the pen holder, clock etc are as per question. you tried to explain the functionally of products. but your products lacks creativity. we can say this product can be found in the current market. and as aspiring designer you should focus on the creativity and ideas. you could have took inspiration from natural elements and could have designed bio mimic product. lets say table lamp inspired by giraffe or any other animal. functionally this look perfect, but you need to explore more in terms of ideation and other things. the line quality and weights on your lines can play major role here. could have improved a a lot. nice attempt

  You have added features which are prescribed in the questions. tried explaining functions. the pen holders are too tiny, and it can't hold the pens which are bigger in the size. the pen holder will be useless due to functional constraints. what if users want to use it for markers? the design looks common, and we can get it from stores like IKEA, the uniqueness factor is missing from your products. also, you need to work on the line quality and work on the presentation. you would have used whole sheet to compose the presentation by sketching different different features.

  The desk lamp composition is unique, but it needs some improvement. you can improve on the 3d view, we can see your sketch presentation does not have one focused and highlighted-detailed view for this product. all the sketches are having same hierarchy. it would be always better to compose your product in such way that.. there should be one detailed sketch view which can also have shading or hatching. and surrounding could be of explaining important functionality. so here you need to work 3d view. also, you can add arrow or some identifications to highlight the features. we can see you made tangible bar to adjust the brightness of the lamp, battery indicator etc but it is difficult to visualised in your 3d sketch view. the line quality looks rough, and you could use different different line weight to highlight the edges of the drawing.

  You used too much text to explain. Your product is moderately able to explain basic functionality. For example we can see light has pen holder, light is 360 degree movable. It has clock on it, has interactive buttons. And other things. What needs to improved: You need to work on your composition, its too text heavy, the back side of the lamp is not intuit without text you need to give different sketching technique (you can view 3d view here to explain. ) also the products look typical and conventional, you would have shown more creative ideas to hold into lamp. You can also take inspiration from some bio mimic designs. You need to sketch daily you can start with different different product sketching. Then try to put your ideas int product sketching, and eventually it will come up as products idea.

I mean 1st question of part B. but can see the improvement area in this question . first of all you have sketched the 3D view of the lamp as per the question . but your solution is text heavy you need to express it via sketch. your pen holder/container/material holder is interesting feature but you need to think from product as whole and intuitive perspective. think in this way. now you have pressed the button and the holder is activated user has kept something in the holder. now what will happen once the user has again press the button? did the all the pens/material will goes inside the lap of it will fall on the table. ?? fine tuning the line quality will help your sketch to becoming self explanatory. to improve your presentation you need to draw different - different views which will explain the functional as Well as aesthetic part of the your products. if you added vacuum legs for better stability then why there is the need to add extra plastic sheet to your product which can take extra place on your table? overall you need think from all possible angle, work on line quality and presentation, you can take help of Pinterest for this.

  I liked the presentation style (left side is full model and right side shows features) Good One. on Idea and form level. You could have explored a little. See one this is idea and features but next comes the form factor. How do you fit your idea and feature in a form which looks attractive unique, catchy and some kind of emotional value. Try to show atleast 2-3 very rough 20 sec iterations and then finalise the sketch. You can use biimimicry, self image, minimalism or any other art form. or anything (like a night reading lamp for a chemical engineer should have some highlights of chemical engineering) Try to expand the consciousness. But overall you have good sketching skills and as said, sketch more every day. try to sketch atleast 10 rapid product sketches every day. All the best

  I wont call it a perfect lamp but the best part is you have tried something new, different and not usual. The way you have tried to give self image to lamp is commendable. (good chances of increasing marks) I really liked the layout of sketch where you've shown multiple views of sketch. It helps examiner get an overall dimensional view. You dont have to make a complete human. just try to show the bare minimum important one. just to get dimensioanl comparision of product to human. Sketch can be improved. but right now its a fair one. Try to give borders: it pops up the sketch and overall look n feel enhances. Try keeping the product name. Overall a good one.

  Sketch of the desk lamp is clear, functional, and communicates the design intent effectively. The three-dimensional form is well attempted, with shading giving a sense of volume and stability, and the inclusion of a small inset view adds clarity. Functional requirements are thoughtfully addressed—the lamp head rotates at various angles, brightness levels are adjustable through three modes, making the light adaptable for reading. But there are some details missing, if you read the question carefully you can see there is a requirment to add pen holder and clock. which we feel you missed. Practical usability has also been considered. Labels and arrows are placed, avoiding clutter, and they explain the features concisely, which aligns well with the exam’s requirement of visual communication over long explanations. You can also improve the presentation of overall sketch. The creative design idea leans towards a conventional desk lamp and could be made more unique by integrating additional features or modern style of lamps. you need to observe a lot, explore lamp design at behance, or pinterest, or product design blogs/sketch try to sketch them or copy them. As it stand you need to improve on line quality, the confident in your stroke is somewhat less, draw without fear. practice more product sketching.

  your idea is unique. we can see you used biomimic inspired designs. you took care of all the features including pen holder and most of them are intuitive for users. product has unique shape and it is usable. but there are other things where you can improve - 1. presentation, line quality (its ok but you can improve it) add more 3d view to drawing. better ways of labelling you drawing.
